Delete your data
You do not have to delete your whole account to remove your data. Use the methods below to delete specific content, such as individual posts, photos, videos, or comments, while keeping your account and everything else. This deletion is immediate and permanent once you confirm it in the app.
Option 1 — Delete data in the app (fastest)
Sign in to the OVPRIDE app, then remove exactly what you want:
- Delete a post (removes its photos, videos, caption, comments and reactions): open the post, tap the ⋯ menu on it, then tap Delete and confirm.
- Delete a comment you wrote: press and hold your comment (or tap its ⋯ menu), then tap Delete.
- Remove a reaction: tap your reaction again to take it back.
- Remove your profile or cover photo: go to your Profile, tap Edit profile, and clear or replace the photo.
- Edit your name or bio: go to your Profile, tap Edit profile, and update the fields.
Your account stays active
Deleting content this way does not affect your sign-in, your remaining posts, or anything else on your account. If you would rather remove everything, see Delete your account & data.
Option 2 — Request data deletion by email
If you cannot reach the content in the app, or you want us to remove specific data for you, email us and we will handle it:

Use the subject line “OVPRIDE data deletion request”, include the email address registered to your account (and your full name), and describe which data you want deleted (for example, a specific post, photo, video, comment, or your profile photo). For your protection we may ask you to confirm ownership of the email before deleting.
We confirm and complete email requests within 30 days (usually much sooner).
What gets deleted, and what may be retained
- The content you delete is permanently removed from the Service, including its uploaded photos and videos.
- Encrypted backups are rotated on a schedule, so any residual copy of deleted content is purged normally within a further 30 days.
- Aggregated or anonymized statistics (for example, total post reach) that can no longer identify you may be retained.
- Limited records may be kept where required by law or legitimate institutional record-keeping obligations.
