Delete your account & data

You are always in control of your data. You can delete your OVPRIDE account and personal data using either method below. To protect you from accidental loss, deletion is scheduled with a 30-day grace period — your account stays usable and you can cancel any time within those 30 days. After 30 days it is permanently deleted.

Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)

Open the OVPRIDE app and sign in.
Go to the Settings tab.
Tap Account settings.
Scroll to the bottom and, under Account deletion, tap Delete account.
Read the notice and confirm by tapping Schedule deletion. Your account is scheduled for deletion in 30 days. It stays usable until then.

Changed your mind?

Any time within the 30 days, open Settings → Account settings → Account deletion and tap Cancel account deletion, and your account and all its content are kept. After 30 days the deletion is permanent and can’t be undone.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can’t access the app (for example, you signed in with Facebook or Google and no longer have access), email us and we’ll delete your account for you:

Use the subject line “OVPRIDE account deletion request” and include the email address registered to your account (and your full name) so we can verify and locate it. For your protection we may ask you to confirm ownership of the email before deleting.

We confirm and complete email requests within 30 days (usually much sooner).

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the personal data associated with it, including:

Your profile — name, email, password hash, profile photo, cover photo, and bio.
Your posts, uploaded photos and videos, comments, reactions, and shares.
Your notifications and your registered push-notification tokens.
Your saved/hidden post settings and active sign-in sessions.

What may be retained, and for how long

Encrypted backups are rotated on a schedule and, after the account is deleted, any residual copies are purged normally within a further 30 days.
Aggregated or anonymized statistics (for example, total post reach) that can no longer identify you may be retained.
Limited records may be kept where required by law or legitimate institutional record-keeping obligations.

Connected Google / Facebook access

Deleting your OVPRIDE account removes your data from the Service. To also revoke OVPRIDE’s access to your Google or Facebook profile, remove the app from your Google account permissions or your Facebook apps and websites settings.
