Child Safety Standards
Pati by OVPRIDE (the Service) has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards explain what we prohibit, how we prevent and act on it, and how anyone can report it to us.
1. Our commitment
We are committed to keeping the Service free of any content or behavior that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits children. We prohibit CSAE and CSAM without exception, we act on reports promptly, and we cooperate with law enforcement. This standard is aligned with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and with applicable Philippine law.
2. What is strictly prohibited
The following are never allowed on the Service, and any account responsible will be removed:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including any real, generated, animated, or edited image or video that sexualizes a minor.
- Grooming, solicitation, or any attempt to sexually exploit, lure, or endanger a child.
- Sexualization of minors, including sexual comments, requests, or roleplay involving a child.
- Trafficking of, or promotion of the abuse or exploitation of, children.
- Sharing, requesting, or linking to CSAE or CSAM anywhere on or through the Service.
3. Who the Service is for
The Service is intended for adult members of the JHCSC community and is directed to users 18 and over. It is not designed for or directed to children. Where an enrolled community member below the age of majority uses the Service, this must be with the consent and supervision required by law and by parents or guardians. We do not knowingly collect data from children in violation of applicable law.
4. How we prevent and respond
- Moderation. Administrators can review, hide, and remove any content, and can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these standards.
- Reporting tools. Every post, photo, and comment can be reported from inside the app so our moderators can review it (see section 5).
- Action on violations. Confirmed CSAE or CSAM is removed, the responsible account is terminated, and relevant evidence is preserved for the authorities.
- Reporting to authorities. We report apparent CSAE and CSAM to the appropriate authorities, and where applicable to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
5. How to report child sexual abuse and exploitation
If you see anything that sexualizes or endangers a child, report it right away:
In the app
Open the post, photo, or comment, tap the ⋯ menu, then tap Report and choose the reason. Reports go straight to our moderators for review and action.
By email (point of contact)
Email our child safety point of contact at ovpre@jhcsc.edu.ph with the subject “OVPRIDE child safety report.” Include a link to or description of the content and the account involved so we can locate and act on it quickly.
We treat these reports as urgent and act on them as quickly as we can. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
6. Report to the authorities
You can also report child sexual abuse and exploitation directly to the authorities:
- Philippine National Police, Women and Children Protection Center (PNP-WCPC).
- National Bureau of Investigation, Anti-Human Trafficking Division (NBI-AHTRAD).
- National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org.
7. Legal compliance
We comply with applicable child protection laws, including in the Philippines the Anti-Child Pornography Act of 2009 (Republic Act No. 9775), the Anti-Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children and Anti-Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials Act of 2022 (Republic Act No. 11930), and the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act (Republic Act No. 7610).
Our child safety point of contact is ovpre@jhcsc.edu.ph.
